Defenders of Civil and Human Rights was setup to provide assistance to those Australians who do not know or do not understand that Judges, Lawyers and Public Servants must respect International Laws, like the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights in force since 1975 and the Declaration of Human Rights in force since 1948 and also the Treaty against Corruption in force in Australia since 6 January 2006. All Laws passed by the United Nations must be respected in Australia and Legal Actions can be taken against perpetrators of violations of Civil and Human Rights.

With over 10 years of Court Litigation from the Local Courts to the High Court of Australia and with 6 years of Law Studies we noticed that there was a need for an independent organisation to provide assistance to those that cannot afford a high priced Lawyer which sometimes provide worthless services which causes Families to suffer and end up in tragedy all because of the corrupted legal system in Australia.
